Two powerful back-to-back training days focused on decision-making, human behavior under stress, and real-world personal and professional safety — with nationally recognized trainer John Wilson.
Built for Anyone Who
Needs to Perform Under Pressure
Real Training
Looks Like.
Bad decisions don't come from
lack of skill.
They come from unmanaged stress.
Whether you’re in law enforcement, healthcare, business, or just living your life — stress hijacks your judgment at the exact moment you need it most. The same response that makes a person freeze in a confrontation is the same one that causes poor decisions in a meeting, a tense conversation, or an unfamiliar environment. This training teaches you to interrupt that process — and access what you already know when it matters.
Interactive. Real-World.
Built Around Experience.
This Is Not a Lecture.
It’s Packed with Proof.
These courses are primarily interactive and informational — meaning you won’t just hear concepts, you’ll see them demonstrated and broken down through real-life examples of proven methods that actually work under pressure.
There are portions of the training that are hands-on. Participation is completely your choice. You are never required to step on the floor. You can observe, learn, and absorb just as much by watching skilled people work through the material together. Some call that keeping your distance. We call it wisdom.
Whether you participate physically or take it all in from the sideline, you leave with the same tools — practical strategies you can put to use the moment you walk out the door.
Two Courses.
One Complete System.
In high-stakes moments, poor decisions rarely come from lack of training. They come from unmanaged stress pushing the brain out of logical thinking and into instinctive reaction — at the exact moment when deliberate control matters most. This 4-hour course gives you practical tools to interrupt that process.
- How stress affects perception, memory, and decision-making
- Why emotional reactions override logic under pressure — and how to stop it
- Techniques to regulate heart rate, breathing, and autonomic responses
- Prediction training to recognize problems before they escalate
- Stress inoculation strategies to improve performance under pressure
- Tools for post-event recovery and self-assessment
Designed for professionals, families, and travelers who want real-world safety skills without fear-based training or unrealistic techniques. The focus is on mindset, awareness, and decision-making in everyday environments — locally and while traveling.
- How to recognize early indicators of developing threats
- Managing unwanted encounters before they escalate
- Moving safely through public spaces, hotels, restaurants, and transit areas
- Boundary setting and verbal de-escalation strategies
- Smart movement, positioning, and escape options under stress
- Personal security when working or traveling alone
Stress is a powerful survival mechanism — but when unmanaged, it becomes a liability. This module gives you a practical, no-nonsense approach to understanding how stress affects your body and mind, and how to control it before it controls you.
- What actually happens in the body and brain under stress
- The difference between helpful stress and harmful stress
- How stress impacts health, decision-making, and performance
- Seven proven methods to reduce and control stress
- Techniques that can be applied immediately in daily life
- Strategies for long-term resilience and recovery
A full-day intensive combining two powerful modules: real-world safety skills for how people actually move through the world, and proven stress resilience strategies rooted in military, law enforcement, and executive protection principles — adapted for civilian life.
The Complete System
Why this combination matters: Most people don’t fail because they lack information. They fail because stress strips away access to what they already know. This two-day system is designed to address both sides — building the judgment to handle pressure in the moment, and the resilience to sustain that capability over time. If you want training that respects reality and prepares you for it, this is it.
He Didn’t Build This
From a Textbook.
John Wilson is the founder of CBLTAC — Core Body Language Training & Consulting. He spent 20 years as a California Highway Patrol officer and served as a U.S. Army Ranger. He has lived the reality of making high-stakes decisions under extreme stress — and spent two decades developing the tools to do it better.
His curriculum bridges the gap between the science of stress and the practical demands of real life — for law enforcement, healthcare professionals, corporate leaders, and everyday people alike. His ability to translate complex physiological science into immediately actionable skills is what makes this training unlike anything else available in East Texas.
This is his third event in East Texas. The demand to bring him back speaks for itself.
“I wish I had had this training earlier in my career. It would have changed how I handled things — in the field and at home.”
