But together, the four levels build a complete self-defense foundation: from your first strike to ground defense, from awareness to action. Whether you start at Level 1 or jump into the one that fits your situation, you leave with skills you can use.

Level 1
Foundational Safety & Assertive Defense

Your foundation. Learn how to strike with real force, escape the most common attacks, and move with purpose. This level builds the physical skills and the mindset to use them.

  • Effective striking with hands, elbows, knees, and feet
  • Escape tactics from grabs, bearhugs, and takedowns
  • Movement and positioning to stay protected while defending
  • Confidence and assertiveness through hands-on drills

Level 2
Movement & Overcoming Attacks from Behind

Real attacks happen in tight spaces, from behind, in crowds. This level teaches you to defend in the environments where you’re actually at risk — not just an open mat.

  • Fighting and defending in tight spaces — walls, crowds, confined areas
  • Advanced defensive tactics against more aggressive threats
  • Environmental awareness — using your surroundings as tools
  • Quick thinking and adaptability under pressure

Level 3
Protecting Yourself & Your Kids

When you’re not just responsible for yourself, everything changes. This level is built around the specific challenge of staying safe and effective when your children are with you.

  • Situational awareness skills to spot danger early

  • Positioning and shielding your children during a confrontation
  • Building the calm, control, and confidence to protect your family

Level 4
Ground Control & Escaping Safely

Being taken to the ground is a worst-case scenario for most people. This level removes the fear by teaching you exactly what to do — and how to turn a dangerous position into a way out.

  • How to get back on your feet quickly after being knocked down
  • Stopping an attacker from gaining the top position
  • Skills to remove someone if they climb on top
  • Key ground positions that create control and escape opportunities
